..Mandalas

..

.
The mandala é literally a circle, despite its being complex and often is restricted within a square frame.
.
The mandala is an image, at the same, time both synthetic and dynamogenic, representing and trying to overcome the opposition of the multiple and that of the single, of the decomposed and of the integrated, of the differentiated and the undifferentiated, of the outer an of the inner, of the diffuse and of the concentrated, of the apparent visibility and invisible reality, of the temporal-space to the non-temporal and extra-spatial.

C. G. Jung resorts the image of the mandala in order to name a symbolic representation of the psyche, which essence is unknown to us. He has verified, just as his disciples did, that such images are used to consolidate its core or to help deep meditation.

.
Contemplation of a mandala supposedly inspires serenity, the feeling that life has finally once more found its sense and order.
.
The mandala has double efficacy: to retain psychic order, in case it was already there; to reestablish, in case it has disappeared. In this last instance, it plays a stimulating and creative role.
